As Director of Sales, you will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for driving market and revenue growth for our data services practice. Your primary focus will be on identifying potential customers, understanding their unique business needs, and selling implementation services to deliver on the client’s needs. Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead generation through active prospecting.
Generate leads through relationships with Databricks and Snowflake Sales personnel with a focus on identifying client opportunities and leading joint sales pursuits.
Qualification and pipe progression from lead to close along with accurate forecasting, is expected.
You will be expected to meet and exceed your annual quotas as well as meet minimum revenue expectations every quarter.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Facilitate contract negotiations and close professional services sales agreements.
Work with the Pre-Sales team to create estimations, proposals, SOW’s, responses to RFP’s etc.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment pre and post sales.
Constantly build an effective network through relationships with Salesforce sales personnel.
Active account management post sales to ensure CSAT and build relationships.
Work closely with Databricks and Snowflake sales personnel with focus on identifying client opportunities and leading joint sales pursuits.
Key Skills Required:
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
Possesses a good knowledge of the Salesforce platform (All Clouds) and product offerings.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions aligned to customer current and future needs.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Be a self-starter and create content, marketing events etc.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Excellent at building and maintaining relationships.
Experience working with global teams across time zones.
Ideation on how to penetrate the market and the will and tenacity to do so.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ years in IT sales, specializing in data engineering services with experience selling data warehouse/Lakehouse and analytics related products/services/solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
