NetSuite Techno-Functional Consultant

Location: India – Noida, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Pune, Nagpur

As a NetSuite Techno-Functional Consultant, you’ll combine technical expertise with deep functional knowledge to design, implement, and optimize NetSuite ERP solutions for clients. Your role involves bridging the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities, leveraging your understanding of both to deliver customized solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness in business operations. With a focus on system configuration, customization, and user support, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring successful NetSuite implementations and ongoing client satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Apply Best Practices in defining custom solutions on NetSuite’s SuiteFlex™ platform.
  • Assist in pre–sales activities including technical validation and scoping/estimation.
  • Gather business/technical requirements through interview and analysis.
  • Produce system design documents and participate in technical walkthroughs.
  • Oversee the development of code by our development team per system design documents.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing for complex solutions.
  • Track and report project progress to appropriate parties using MS Office, MS Project and Visio.
  • Attending internal meetings including knowledge transfers, mentoring sessions for junior resources, and other strategic initiatives.

Key Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of NetSuite systems integration and implementation experience.
  • Hands on SuiteCloud development including SuiteTalk and SuiteScript.
  • Exposure in using languages like Java, JavaScript, OOPS
  • Experience developing web applications using REST, XML/XSL and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL).
  • Excellent understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Invoicing), Sales Force Management (Opportunity, Proposal, Sales Orders, Forecasting, Territory Management and Quotas), Inventory Management (Purchasing and Fulfillment) as well as support (Cases Management and Territory Management).
  • Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable business solutions, either as a software solution or a re-engineering initiative.
  • Technical background, experience in system architecture, object–oriented design, web frameworks and patterns.
  • Ability to author detailed technical design/specification documents capturing workflow processes, technical use cases, exception handling, and test cases.
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Proficiency in error resolution, error handling and debugging.
  • Functional, technical, implementation and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications: NS Suite-Foundation, NetSuite Suite Foundation Certification, NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification.
